Christine Hogan Henk is a certified Speech/Language Pathologist. Presently, she is a PhD candidate for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Developmental Disorders through the Interdisciplinary Council for Developmental and Learning Disorders Graduate School. Christine has worked extensively with children who display Speech/Language disorders, delays and challenges. She also served as the Speech/Language Consultant for The Village Educational Center, The Therapeutic Preschool in Berkley, Michigan. Christine participates in the Multidisciplinary Assessment and Treatment of Autistic Children through the ICF. She is trained in administration of The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). She has received certification in The Hanen Communication programs; including Learning Language and Loving It, It Takes Two To Talk and More Than Words. She is also trained in Instrumental Enrichment, Links to Language and Fast Forword Auditory Training Programs. She has participated in training workshops to assist parents as “Communicating Partners”. Previously, Christine worked with neurologically impaired children and adults in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings.
