Jennifer DeSchryver is a licensed clinical psychologist and infant mental health specialist. She has worked with children and their families in various settings, including outpatient, residential, in-home and school-based programs. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent psychotherapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. She received additional training at the University of California San Francisco’s Infant Parent Program and has earned a Level III endorsement from the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health.

Dr. DeSchryver provides psychotherapy and psychological evaluations for infants, toddlers, young children and their parents. Her clinical practice also includes working with young children who have experienced neglect, abuse, and other trauma. She has a specialized interest in working with parents and young children with attachment difficulties, including families with children who have been adopted internationally from institutions and domestically through foster care. She provides consultation and supervision to professionals, and has presented on the topics of parent-child play therapy
and attachment.
