Julie Ribaudo graduated from the University of Georgia in 1984. She also completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Infant Mental Health from Wayne State University. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Since 1987, she has specialized in the field of early childhood. Mrs. Ribaudo has worked in every major state system, including juvenile court, child welfare, Head Start, public health, community mental health and education. Her clinical work focuses on parent-infant relationships, and assessment and treatment of abused and/or neglected infants, toddlers and young children including young children with attachment disorders. She also works with adults to resolve issues of depression, anxiety and childhood trauma.

Mrs. Ribaudo has presented and consulted internationally and nationally about infancy and early childhood. She is a past president of the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health.
